Bubbles, Coke and Marc...oh my!

This is what happens when Marc Jacobs becomes Creative Director for Diet Coke. There's a fashionable party in every can. Can these beauties get any cuter? I'm loving the polka dots; as Mr. Jacobs made them his trademark. Something i've always loved about MJ is he's never afraid to step outside the box and never afraid to use color. If you know me, you know i am a die hard fan of Coke, so having these two be paired up is a match made in fashion heaven. The coke stars were alined perfectly to make this type of magical connection. I'm all bubbly, yet not sure how/when i'll ever get my hands on one of these beautiful sliver, chic cylinders, but i'll be on the look out.

Marc Jacobs Fizzy Future!

Poor coke can before it's gor'juss make-over!

Crayon Box!

Some people probably think that in order for you to have a fashion blog you need to wear high fashion items. Although I would not mind having the latest Marc Jacobs, Prada, Chanel's; but in my world which I call reality is not possible. I do own a few "pricey" items, which I've either won in a polyvore contest or they were gifted to me from/through polyvore. Other then that, I stick to what I know I can afford and still be able to get my iced latte every morning *smiles*. Nothing wrong with paring up a "pricey" item with something you may have found in the thrift shop for 2 bucks. Now that's my kind of style; besides no one has ever stated that in order for you to be "in fashion" or to be"fashionable", you need to be head to toe in designer rags. I am not ashame to say I shop at Target, and let me tell you how PROUD I get when I find something on sale "I got this shirt for 5 bucks". Yeah I'm one of those!

However, I am not cheap. I do love good quality in clothing, shoes and bags. So in many things I will not settle.

Philly's Fashion Week 2013

Philly's Fashion week kicked off with 'Ready to Wear' collections from 11 local designers. My press pass got me in the VIP section where I was up close to the designs. This was my first Philly Fashion event and I really enjoyed it. Everyone was in good spirits, very supportive and ready for showtime. One thing I would advised against is allowing food in the showroom. I know, I know it's food and people need to eat, but it looked very unprofessional. It also would of been nice to have the designers name displayed as their collection was being showcased. It was a bit confusing as to who I was viewing, but I figured it out eventually. Other then that, the night started off great. Music playing, everyone hype by this time. As the collections kept coming down I saw lots of mini's, royal blues, leather, sparkles, black and emerald. I was also excited to see men's wear; it was refreshing to see all the details and exquisite construction in each piece. From all the designer's I particularly loved the collection from Shavonne Deann, who reinvented the hand "bag" by using brown paper bags as a purse. Who said brown paper bags were only for lunch? I also loved the collection of Marina Makaron Moscow, every piece was brilliant, full of color ,bold patterns and some kind of wonderful. I seriously pictured each item in my closet.

Featured Designers of the evening: Dramatik Fanatik, Ian Alexander, Alicia Pinckney, Shavonne Deann, Las Swimwear, Lady Embellishment, Suede Square, Lili Daliessio ,Anthony Eastwick ,Marina Makaron Moscow and Walish Gooshe
It was a great night and I am proud of my City. Tonight is the "Couture" show then after party at the Sugar House Casino , featuring designer Jason Neelson.
